Visiting Moms: A free home visiting program for the mothers of newborns

Successful program now available in Central Mass

Are you feeling alone or isolated? Do you wonder how you’ll ever adjust to this exhilarating, exhausting, enormous change in your life? Sometimes a friendly face, adult conversation, a chance to tell someone that you feel overwhelmed and tired can make a world of difference.

Visiting Moms are trained volunteers and experienced moms who can help you gain confidence in your new role parenting your newborn. A Visiting Mom will visit you in your home for an hour a week during the trying first months of infancy up until your baby’s first birthday. During these visits, you may share your concerns and feelings in a confidential relationship.
