2. 24-hour closure at I-90/I-495 interchange ramps starts Friday (hopkintonindependent.com) β If you rely on the I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 northbound in Hopkinton, plan ahead for a full 24-hour closure from Friday 8 p.m. to Saturday 8 p.m. MassDOT will detour drivers via I-495 south to West Main Street, with lane restrictions and expected delays near the interchange.

Each issue, one winning image from around town is published and earns a $25 BoMain gift certificate, with simple email submission rules for anyone 16 or older.

'It was odd': Tractor-trailer 'Storrowed' under Southborough rail bridge as trains continue to pass (wcvb.com) β A tractor-trailer carrying building materials became stuck under a rail bridge on the SouthboroughβHopkinton line near Route 85, peeling back the truck's roof but causing no injuries. Trains continued to pass safely overhead as inspectors confirmed the bridge's integrity, so rail service for local commuters was not disrupted despite the dramatic scene.
