• Warbirds of America Honors Outstanding Restorations at AirVenture 2026 (vintageaviationnews.com) — Hudson’s American Heritage Museum just earned Grand Champion WWII honors at AirVenture 2026 for its meticulously restored PBY Catalina, believed to be the world’s oldest airworthy example. The award spotlights Hudson as home to a flying tribute to World War II crews who flew long, dangerous patrol and rescue missions over the Atlantic.
