Hyde Park Ave Bus Route Detours After Fire: MBTA

Route 33 and 32 have been affected.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — MBTA Bus routes 32 and 33 are working a detour because of that gas main fire on Hyde Park Avenue that started in Roslindale on Sunday evening continued to burn into Monday and Tuesday.

It's been a rough week for Hyde Park Ave. Boston fire officials tweeted that firefighters responded to 1531-1533 Hyde Park Ave, then were able to put out the two-alarm fire on Hyde Park Ave early Tuesday morning. But seven people were displaced. Then the gas main fire in Roslindale on the road continued to burn.

"Routes 32 & 33 detoured January 1-2 due to Boston Fire Dept activity on Hyde Park Ave," tweeted the MBTA. Connections can be made at Forest Hills Station Lower Busway and Hyde Park Ave at Cummins Highway.
