Join the 31st Annual Wilderness Heals Pledge Hike to Benefit Stone House
Registration is now open

Every summer, women from all over New England take part in Wilderness Heals, a pledge hike to help increase awareness and raise funds for the important work Stone House does every day. Stone House makes a difference in our community by caring for and protecting adult and child survivors of domestic abuse, and helping them rebuild safe, secure, independent lives of purpose and self-fulfillment.
“We are excited to announce that registration is now open for out annual hiking adventure through New Hampshire's White Mountains, where each step supports Stone House and domestic violence survivors,” said Gina Varamo, Chief Development Officer at the Stone House.“This year, we are launching a “choose your own adventure” option for the first time.”

“Our goal is to raise $200,000 in unrestricted funds for our Emergency Shelter and Early Learning Center – programs that provide safety, stability, and healing for survivors and their children at some of the most critical moments in their lives,” said Varamo.
Any woman who wants to meet the physical, emotional, and fundraising challenges of the hike is welcome to participate. This includes: seasoned hikers and new hikers, outdoor enthusiasts and newbies to nature, survivors of domestic violence or trauma and their supporters, and anyone seeking the opportunity to embark in adventure and camaraderie while raising money for an amazing cause. Fundraising minimums vary based on the type of hike selected by the participant.
