Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council to Hold Community Meeting on JP/Rox Plan

The council will hold an open meeting on Wednesday to address the Boston Redevelopment Authority's rezoning plan.

Jamaica Plain, MA – The Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council will hold a special community meeting tomorrow to address the JP/Rox rezoning plan.

Residents will have the opportunity to weigh in on the Boston Redevelopment Authority's plan, which will rezone the Forest Hills, Egleston Square and Jackson Square area.

This will bring significant use, density and height allowances to Washington Street, Columbus Avenue, Green Street and Amory Street.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the plan would be delayed at least three months in order to reopen discussions with community groups in Jamaica Plain.

Tomorrow night's meeting will be held at the Farnsworth House, 90 South St., at 7 p.m.
