Two Men Face Charges in JP Store Robberies

They are accused of a January 22 hold-up.

Heath Carson, of Quincy, and Richard Perry, of Taunton, are accused of committing a Jan. 22 hold-up at the Tostado Sandwich Bar at 300 Centre St. in Jackson Square.

Carson will face additional charges of allegedly committing an armed robbery at the JP Variety Store at 162 South St. on Jan. 6, according to the DA’s Office.

The Jamaica Plain Gazette reported that Carson is currently charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the Tostado robbery.

Carson will be arraigned on charges relating to the JP Variety Store robbery on March 12, the DA’s Office said. Perry has yet to be arraigned on the robbery charges.
