• South Shore Elder Services transition: What changes June 1 and July 1 (patriotledger.com) — Lakeville residents who rely on state-funded elder services will soon be served by Old Colony Elder Services, which is expanding its coverage area starting July 1, 2026. The Brockton-based agency is taking over South Shore Elder Services’ territory, bringing Lakeville into a 34-community network for home care, Meals on Wheels, and other supports for older adults and some disabled residents.
