• Madison McCarthy, Cooper Calvert are Bianchi-Barbarotta Foundation top athletes (berkshireeagle.com) — A Lee student, Joey Abderhalden, has been chosen to receive a Vera Barbarotta Memorial Sportsman Scholarship from the Bianchi-Barbarotta Foundation, which is honoring standout Berkshire County athletes and coaches. The awards will be presented at a spaghetti dinner in Pittsfield on June 12, celebrating multi-sport stars from Wahconah and successful basketball coaches from Hoosac Valley and Pittsfield.
