Funded through Community Preservation Act money, the research documents about 40 homes, multigenerational families, and the neighborhood’s lasting impact on Lee’s industrial and cultural identity.
   

• Robert Allen Pino, 94, of Lee (theberkshireedge.com) — Longtime Lee paper-mill worker Robert “Bob” Allen Pino, 94, has passed away, leaving a legacy of devotion to family, hard work, and joyful traditions like playing Santa at Christmas. Friends and neighbors can pay their respects on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, with visitation followed by a memorial service.
