1. MassDOT: Daytime Construction Operations on I-90 (iberkshires.com) — Drivers on I-90 westbound through Lee and Becket should expect delays during tree trimming November 11–12, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., between mile markers 14.8 and 12.0. Bridge painting in Stockbridge will also affect both directions on November 9–10 and 12–13. All work is weather dependent.
   

2. Lee Advances with Blowout Win (iberkshires.com) — Lee’s girls soccer team is moving on in the Division 5 state tournament after beating South Shore Charter 7-0 Friday in its final home game. Emily Hall and Ella Simone each scored twice as the Wildcats rediscovered their scoring touch. Next, 27th-seeded Lee faces No. 6 Rockport in the Round of 32.
   

3. Lee public safety complex takes shape (berkshireeagle.com subscription) — Lee’s $36.7 million public safety complex is on track for substantial completion in August 2027, with crews aiming to make it weather-tight by November’s end. The Railroad Street building will replace cramped police, fire and ambulance facilities with space for full-sized fire engines, secure police processing and shared training areas.
   

4. Great Barrington fire chief placed on paid leave (berkshireeagle.com subscription) — Great Barrington Fire Chief Scott Turner is on paid administrative leave, with Lt. Brian Mead serving as acting chief. Town Manager Liz Hartsgrove has not explained the reason or timing. Turner is the third Berkshire County fire chief placed on leave in recent months, following cases in Lee and Sandisfield.
