Mount Auburn Hospital, along with Terry Eagan and Patio Records, are pleased to be presenting the 19th Annual Healing Garden Music Fest on Saturday, April 25th at 7:30 pm at the French American Victory Club Hall in Waltham. The concert will feature country, folk, and traditional music performances by Rebecca Hosking, Kelli Trotter, and The Lucky Sisters, and featured guests Paul Mills, Scott Neubert, Angela Simonelli, and more. 100% of the concert’s proceeds will go towards funding a future healing garden at Mount Auburn Hospital.
Terry Eagan, a longtime Waltham resident and friend of Mount Auburn Hospital, began these festivals 18 years ago to raise funds to fulfill his wife Mary Eagan’s dream of having a healing garden built for patients suffering from cancer. Mary passed away from Leukemia in 1992 and since then, Eagan has used music festivals to help fund and build healing gardens throughout Greater Boston and Canada. He created Patio Records because of his love of music and to emphasize artists who support his cause. Not only do 100% of the proceeds from the concerts go towards funding healing gardens, but all proceeds from his production company do the same.
“A healing garden at Mount Auburn Hospital will provide a peaceful and relaxing oasis for our patients who are undergoing treatment. The refreshing environment will enhance their quality of life, and physical and mental well-being while at the hospital,” said Jeanette Clough, President and CEO, Mount Auburn Hospital.
