2+ Inches of Snow to Blanket Lexington

The wet snow will likely make road conditions dangerous for the Friday morning commute. More snow could be on the way Sunday.

Lexington will receive about 2 inches of wet snow Thursday night and Friday morning.

The National Weather Service said rain will develop Thursday at about 8 p.m. before turning to snow early Friday. Much of the state will receive about 2 inches. Some interior areas could see up to 4 inches.

The wet snow will make road conditions dangerous during the Friday morning commute, NWS said.
