4-6 Inches of Snow, -20 Wind Chill for Lexington Thursday

Even more snow is on the way this weekend.

About 4 to 6 inches of snow will hit the region by Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow is expected to start tonight around midnight and continue until about noon Thursday.

Here’ the latest NWS forecast:

  • Wednesday night: Snow after midnight. Low of 22 degrees.
  • Thursday: Snow continues through about noon. Accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Wind gusts as high as 32 mph. Wind chill values as low as -20 at night.
  • Friday: Sunny. High 17, low 8.
  • Saturday: Chance of snow after 11 a.m. High 26, low 12.
  • Sunday: Chance of snow. High 19, low 8.
