6-10 Inches of Snow to Hit Lexington Wednesday

State officials are urging travelers to travel Tuesday if they can.

Lexington will get buried with up to 10 inches of snow during one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.

The snow is expected to hit Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service said 6 to 10 inches of snow will hit the area. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said people should try to travel Tuesday instead of Wednesday if they can.
