7/12 Herbalism Workshop at Wright-Locke Farm
Learn how to make herbal products during this class hosted by Soluna Garden Farm.

The summer season is the perfect time of year to learn how to safely and healthfully preserve fruits and vegetables, make homemade herbal products, and forage for wild edible and medicinal plants growing throughout the New England region. Wright-Locke Farm will host several adult education programs this July and August exploring these topics through hands-on workshops.
The next program, an Herbalism Workshop hosted by Soluna Garden Farm, is this Sunday, July 12 from 10am- 12pm at the farm (78 Ridge Street, Winchester, MA). Learn about some of the forage-worthy plants growing in New England that can be used to create healing lotions, balms, and more at home during this hands-on class in the historic 1827 Barn. Participants will make four different herbal products to take home (a hair rinse, after-sun skin balm, bug bite balm, and lip balm) using natural and local ingredients.
Workshop fee is $30 per person (ages 16+). Registration is required, but payment can be made the day of the workshop (exact cash or check only, please). Visit our website to sign up or to see our other adult education workshop offerings!
