Acton Cooperative Theater Presents 'Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical' this weekend!

The Acton Cooperative Theater (The A.C.T.) is pleased to present their production of Disney’s Camp Rock: The Musical on November 21-22, 2014 at the R.J. Grey Jr. High School Dragonfly Theater, located at 16 Charter Road in Acton. Show times are Friday at 7:00pm and Saturday at 2:00pm. A classic story of rivalry and power, Camp Rock: The Musical is a combination of The Disney Channel’s hit movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. The stage is set as Mitchie and her friends arrive at Camp Rock, ready to spend another summer having the time of their lives. But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie and her fellow Camp Rockers must battle Camp Star in an ultimate showdown of talent and skill. The A.C.T. is a unique, non-profit cooperative theater for children and teens. Their mission is to foster creativity and self-confidence in students grades K-12 as they improve and develop their skills in various areas of the performing arts. The A.C.T. welcomes students from Acton and surrounding communities who are interested in exploring the wonderful world of theater.
The A.C.T. also offers a theater enrichment program with organized outings to local shows presented by the Acton Boxborough Regional Schools and to family-friendly Broadway shows at The Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA.
