Come learn more about our school where:

• Scientists from area universities visit frequently, discussing topics such as silk science, ground penetrating radar, archaeology, bombardier beetles, and ocean engineering.
• Every week, students spend hours in the adjoining conservation land climbing trees and identifying wildlife.
• In the woods, we practice “mindful writing,” describing what we hear, see, and feel.
• We begin public speaking in Kindergarten: students write and present every two weeks at All-School Assemblies.
• Birches teachers bring learning to life. During our ancient history unit, we converted our sandbox into a gridded archaeological dig.
• Travel along the Silk Road became more tangible thanks to a visit from Joshua the camel.
