Annual silent auction for SNAP tomorrow at LFM
Tuesday September 22nd at the Lexington Farmers' Market the SNAP auction will run from 2-6 pm. Come browse items and make a bid.

Please join us at the Lexington Farmers’ Market tomorrow for our ANNUAL silent auction for SNAP. We are grateful to be part of a town that shares the importance of healthy local food with all members of the community and appreciative of our farmers and vendors who contribute their wonderful products towards the auction baskets.
Here is the list of items to bid on (winners notified at 6pm and items delivered to you!)
1.FARM-FRESH BREAKFAST IN A BOWL Enjoy a dozen pasture-raised eggs and a package of breakfast sausage from Copicut Farm (gift certificate), using recipes from the new cookbook classic How to Cook an EGG. If you prefer grains for breakfast, feast from an 8 oz. bag of Roasted Granola drizzled with Niemy’s Apiary Honey; white ceramic bowl and artful kitchen magnets included. Bidding starts at $75

2.HAPPY HIPPIE BREAKFAST BASKET You’re bound to have a great day when it starts with an 8 oz. bag of Roasted Granola, topped with pick-your-own organic raspberries (gift certificate for two quarts) from Wright-Locke Farm. Stay healthy with a selection of Jubali Juice beverages (gift certificate for one each tonic, smoothie, juice) and finish off your feast with breakfast sausage or bacon from Chestnut Farm ($20 gift certificate); drape your table with artisan silk table runner. 4.COASTAL WINE VINEYARD TOUR AND TASTING FOR 4. Coastal Vineyard donates this wonderful day for four in beautiful Dartmouth, MA to our auction each year. Spend an afternoon with David touring his vineyard; learn about wine making, David’s passion for his work and taste a variety of wines. Corkscrew, Nantucket Lightship Wine Basket, and 4 picnic wine glasses and napkins included. Please arrange date directly with David; limited to Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Bidding Starts at $100 (please bid in $5 increments for this item).
5.GRILL NIGHT: FREEZER BAG FILLED WITH A VARIETY OF CUTS OF DRY-AGED BEEF, SA’S SWEET AND SPICY SAUCES FOR MARINATING and SERVING and a WILLIAM SONOMA THERMOMETER-FORK Do some creative cooking with a variety of cuts of beef from River Rock Farm. Start by marinating with SA’s Sweet and Spicy Sauce; grill to perfection with the help of the thermometer fork and serve with more of SA’s delicious sauces! Bidding Starts at $85
6. FUN PARTY IDEA FOR BAKERS: BREAD BAKING CLASS AT SWISS BAKERS FOR 10 GUESTS
The class takes place in their Allston location and is for up to 10 people (valued at $25/person, $250 total). The guests will receive a tour of the entire production facility and then will have a baking class. You will make rolls and while they are baking, the class will make butter. When the rolls are finished, your party can enjoy their roll & butter in the Swiss Bakers café. The class is 1.5 hours long. Bidding starts at $200 (please bid in $5 increments for this item)
