MTI provides students with the required qualifications to confidently seek out and successfully compete for desirable roles in diverse high-growth industries. Adults may apply to the MTI programs to hone their skills in a technical area, retrain for new employment, or learn new technical skills. MTI rapidly equips students with the knowledge, self-confidence, and industry certifications to enhance their existing career or begin a new one. Students learn more, faster; train with experts; and receive the attention they deserve.

Our programs follow the school calendar and are held from September through June, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am – 2:30 pm. MTI offers interest-free payment plans for all of our programs.

Accepting application for September 2015: Advanced Automotive Technology, Building Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts / Baking, Dental Assisting, Early Education & Care, Electrical Wiring, Hospitality Management, and Plumbing.

MTI is a part of Minuteman High School, an award-winning regional high school that gives its graduates a competitive edge in the new global economy by providing them with a high-quality career and technical education, coupled with a rigorous grounding in mathematics, English, science, and social studies.

At Minuteman, students can currently major in 19 career and technical education programs at the same time they take rigorous academic courses, similar to those in traditional academic high schools. Minuteman offers a wide selection of academic courses and programs, including foreign languages (Spanish, French and Latin), art, Advanced Placement courses, and Girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It also offers a wide range of sports and does not charge any fees to participate.

After graduation, more than 60% of the school’s graduates pursue college or advanced training.

Minuteman has been spotlighted in several major media outlets, including The Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and National Public Radio. It was also featured in a book, Job U: How to Find Wealth and Success by Developing the Skills Companies Actually Need.

The Minuteman district includes 16 member communities: Acton, Arlington, Belmont, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Lincoln, Needham, Stow, Sudbury, Wayland, and Weston.
