Beacon Brass Quintet to Plymouth Belmont and Lexington High School Students Arthur Abbate, Joe Blumberg and Noah Brown Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve Services at Plymouth Congregational Church Belmont to include Lexington musicians at 11 PM and Beacon Brass Quintet 5 PM

Plymouth Congregational Church 582 Pleasant Street Belmont will feature Beacon Brass Quintet at our 5 PM Christmas Eve Service where they will lead us along with Music Director and Organist Christine Hogan. Music includes traditional carols and each person will receive a jingle bell to play with Beacon Brass for the postlude, “Sleigh Ride” and to bring home to put on their tree. Beacon Brass Quintet is nationally acclaimed and has performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, and the opening ceremonies of the John F. Kennedy Library. Members are in the Boston Pops Orchestra under Keith Lockhart as well as the Boston Ballet Orchestra.

Our 11 PM Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols will feature a trumpet quartet including Lexington High School students Arthur Abbate, Joe Blumberg and Noah Brown. Our Chancel Choir will lead us with traditional carols as well as Eric Whitacre’s “Lux Aurumque” and Connor Koppin’s “There Is No Rose”. As is the tradition at Plymouth all will be invited to sing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” at the end of the service. Prelude music will begin at 10:30 PM.
