Boston Local Food Festival Sunday
The annual free event will serve up flavor and fun on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The 5th Annual Boston Local Food Festival will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, by the Faneuil Hall and the Aquarium T stop on the MBTA Blue Line.
The event will serve as a launch pad for A New England Food Vision, a groundbreaking report from Food Solutions New England (FSNE) that challenges Massachusetts and the New England region to ensure that 50% of food consumed is locally produced by the year 2060. FSNE will launch their “50 by 60” vision at 12:00 p.m. on Milk St. at Atlantic Ave.

Local food producers will be selling tasting plates, specialty foods and produce.Vendors from across New England will represent local farms, food trucks, restaurants and food and fitness-related organizations.
There will be both chef and do-it-yourself demos, the Family Fun Zone and the Seafood Throwdown. This year’s chefs include: Chef Pankaj Pradhan of The Red Lentil Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant, gluten-free cooking expert Chef Oonagh Williams and Warmth and Wellness’ Jessie Liu.
