Man Killed in Lexington Crash
A tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 95 Monday morning; heavy rain created hazardous driving conditions.

A tractor-trailer driver was killed when he crashed on Interstate 95 in Lexington Wednesday morning, police said.
The driver was a 52-year-old from Saugus. His name was not immediately released.
Police said for some reason he lost control on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 31 and crashed; the truck rolled over.

The driver was transported to Lahey Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Heavy rain was falling at the time of the crash and contributed to a host of crashes across the state. Rain was expected to continue through Wednesday, likely affecting the evening commute.
