
2025 Boston International Chinese Song Competition Grandly Launched!
The dream stage for Chinese music lovers around the world is waving at you! The 2025 Boston International Chinese Song Competition (BICSC) is grandly launched, and singing talents from all over the world are welcome to sign up. Whether you love pop, folk, or specialize in bel canto, there is a track for you here!
Competition highlights at a glance:
Three major singing categories: bel canto, folk, and pop.
Open to all ages: People over 5 years old can sign up, divided into 21 detailed groups, professional/non-professional players can participate.
The international jury is impressive: well-known musicians, professors, and national-level actors from China, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and other countries are in charge.
Attractive awards: Gold, silver, bronze, best stage performance award, outstanding achievement award, outstanding teacher award and other honorary awards. Gold awards also include prizes.
Performance and recommendation opportunities: Outstanding contestants have the opportunity to perform at the "Winners Concert" of the competition, participate in the WeStar Four Seasons Concert in the United States, be recommended to the Chinese and American performing arts agencies, and even have the opportunity to perform on the top talent shows in China and the United States.
Competition schedule:
Registration deadline: Submit videos online before 11:30 p.m. (EST) of July 1, 2025 (Sunday)
Finals site: August 16, 2025, 12pm-4pm, at Cary Hall, 1605 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02420
Winners Concert and Awards Ceremony: August 17, 2025, 2pm-5pm at Cary Hall
Eligibility & Requirements:
Open to the worldwide singers, regardless of nationality, just love Chinese songs;
Optional singing languages include Mandarin, Cantonese, Minnan dialect, etc.;
Flexible form of participation: solo, duet, group or chorus are all possible;

Awards:
Each group has gold, silver, bronze and multiple achievement awards
Gold Prize: $500 for professional group, $200 for non-professional group
All winners will be awarded certificates and medals, and have the opportunity to receive letters of recommendation and performance invitations
Organizer Background:
This competition is hosted by the Boston International Music Competition (BIMC), in collaboration with professors from Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, Harvard University Department of Music and WeStar Academy of Music and Performing Arts in the United States, to create an international stage for Chinese music.
