Hearty Latin Winter Soups with Chef Emilia & Arthur of Art Cooks

Warm up this November with Chef Emilia & Arthur of Art Cooks and three soul-warming soups straight from Venezuelan family kitchens, each paired with its classic side to make a complete meal. Working in small teams, you'll prepare:

• Cruzado: a rich beef and chicken soup with root vegetables and corn, served with cheese arepitas
• Creamy Butternut Squash Soup with carrot and leek, served with garlic-butter casabe (crispy cassava flatbread)
• Lentil Soup with Chorizo, served with vegetable rice

You'll learn the techniques and seasonings behind these comforting dishes using simple, accessible ingredients. Everything is naturally gluten-free, and a vegetarian option is included. At the end of class, we'll sit down together to enjoy everything we cooked.

This class is BYOB - feel free to bring your favorite beer or bottle of wine, especially if it would pair well with the class theme.

If for any reason a class needs to be cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the event to another date. Refunds will be given to those unable to make the new date, and refunds will be given if a class is cancelled with no new date.
