ARTIST DROP-OFF: August 1 – 7, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Artwork will be stored in our exhibition room until it is juried on August 9. If your work is not accepted, you must pick up your artwork by August 11. The gallery will not be responsible for artwork not picked up.)
OPENING RECEPTION: Sunday, August 16, 2015, 4 -6 p.m.

The theme of the show is Discovery. Please submit original pieces of art that express the sense of wonder you experience when you discover something new about yourself or the world around you. Let your imagination run wild!
REGISTER:
When you drop off your artwork, please bring with you the entry form, which can be found under the Juried Shows at www.gallery529.com, and fee: Gallery 529, 529 King Street, Littleton, MA 01460, or pay by PayPal, see link on our website.
Checks for entry fees must be made out to Gallery 529; fees are nonrefundable. Entry forms, fees and artwork must be received at the gallery by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 7th to be considered. Entry labels can be found under the Juried Shows heading at the Gallery 529 website, and are to be used when dropping off your artwork.
You are not required to submit an image to be eligible for the exhibit; however if you would like us to use an image for our website and other promotional materials related to the show, please submit a high resolution (at least 300 dpi, not to exceed 2 MB)) image of the artwork(s) you are entering via email to vwood@gallery529.com. Label the image file with your last name and the title of the work: e.g. Monet, Water Lilies.
Entries will be judged by Christopher Volpe, a well-known professional painter, teacher, and art historian from Hollis, N.H. Artists whose work is not selected for the show will be contacted via email and must pick up their work by August 11 during regular gallery hours, daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Mondays. A best of show will be awarded with a $75 cash prize, as well as a popular vote award with a $75 cash prize. The Gallery will take no responsibility for artwork not picked up by the August 9 deadline.
GUIDELINES:
Artists may submit a maximum of three works. A nonrefundable fee of $15 for one piece, $20 for two pieces, $25 for three pieces must be included with the registration form – or can be paid through PayPal.
2D works may not exceed 60” L+W and must be wired and ready for display. 3D work must not exceed a L+W of 30” or exceed a maximum weight of 40 pounds.
Sale of Artwork
If you would like to sell your artwork, the Gallery’s share will be 30%. If your artwork sells and your share is more than $600, the Gallery will need to issue you a 1099, and tax information will be required.
Artwork that is sold must remain in the show through the entire show. The Gallery will pay all taxes associated with any sale.
