Cradles to Crayons’ Collection Held at Grace Chapel in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Nonprofit to hold product collection to benefit children in need

WHAT: In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Cradles to Crayons® is participating in one of its largest product collections of the year. On Monday, January 16th, Grace Chapel in Lexington, in conjunction with Cradles to Crayons, is collecting critically needed items for children ages 0-12 living in homeless or low-income situations.

Grace Chapel will be accepting new and gently used items, including children’s winter clothing (sizes 0-18/20), winter coats, hats, gloves, diapers, diaper bags, socks, underwear, new school supplies, sneakers, winter boots (sizes 0-adult 9), and baby hygiene items (wipes, shampoo, powder, lotion).

Cradles to Crayons launched in 2002 and has operations in Boston, Philadelphia, and Chicago. The nonprofit provides children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play.
