Join Minuteman Community Education & Wicked Cool for Kids for this Design & Build Workshop, for students entering grades 1 - 5!
Love to create, design and build? That’s engineering in action! This challenge-based workshop will allow kids to repurpose items using the engineering and design process to dream up something new, useful, fabulous or just plain fun! Kids - be an inventor and make your own door alarm, water balloon helmet or mechanical grabber to pick things up. Design a water filter that really works and create a car that’s built to keep an egg safe in a crash. Top off the week by constructing a towering skyscraper and some crazy Rube Goldberg machines!
