At Boston Skyline every rehearsal offers members the tools to maximize their voice and develop performance skills. “Wendy has been with us for 2 years and the education that she has provided and the style that she uses when teaching are always geared to meet all learning needs. As a non-music reader I have found myself singing freely and so much better than I ever thought I could and I am now starting to read music” reports a 20 year member.

For some people, singing in a group brings fear or anxiety but not with Pachter. Rehearsals are a “judgement free zone.” Boston Skyline performs for audiences throughout the Metro – Boston area and were recently featured on Season 2 – Sing That Thing, and also featured in # MasterClassMonday with WGBH Arts Editor Jared Bowen.

Boston Skyline is proud to have such a talented Director who “Teaches,” who “Leads,” who “Cares.” “It’s very exciting to develop the talent of my singers in Boston Skyline Chorus and that feeling when a harmony rings is intoxicating. I look forward to working with the many other chorus directors who share a passion for cultivating musical excellence and to learning/creating new ways to inspire my chorus members to develop further as well-rounded, confident performers. The sky is the limit” says Pachter. Her enthusiasm is infectious, her passion is obvious as witnessed by all who have seen her work.

Under Wendy’s Direction the Boston Skyline Chorus rehearses every Tuesday from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM at the Temple Emunah Social Hall at 9 Piper Rd. Rehearsals are open to guests every week. Boston Skyline is always auditioning and welcoming new members. Look for the new member “Open House” in September for the opportunity to meet this dynamic Director and see and hear the magic of harmony.
