Empow Summer Technology Camp for Kids opens on June 29th. Locations include Lexington, Easton, Cape Cod (Barnstable), Brookline, Belmont, Needham, and Newton
Kids enrolled into Empow's Technology Summer Camp get exposed to Video Game Design, Robotics, Animation, Stop Motion Film, Music, and more.
Empow Studios is reaching into new cities & towns across Massachusetts. The Empow Summer Camp is a 5-day technology camp where kids ages 7-13 can make videos and animations, learn to code, design video games, build robots, and experiment with digital design and music. They have the ability to go deep into a technology they find interesting, or experience all of the technologies in a hands-on environment. The kids will be able to create a unique project, and bring home digital copies to share and enjoy long after camp is over. Early drop-of, extended day, and half-day options are available.
Empow Studios, based in Lexington, MA, has brought their curriculum and services to new locations this summer, to help broaden the STEAM education fundamentals (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math). Students are taught these concepts by working with projects that are fun, including LEGO Robotics, Minecraft, and more. Empow will be running camps in Lexington, Belmont, Easton, Cape Cod (Osterville), Brookline, Newton, and Needham.
Select locations will have a dedicated Minecraft Edition, which allows students to learn about electronics, architecture, scripting and more, all in the virtual world to later apply in real-world applications.

Grab your axe and join your fellow Minecraftians for a week of game design, world creation, exploration, and modding madness. Campers will contribute to and create unique and amazing worlds that can be taken home and played on a personal Minecraft account. The virtual world combines with the physical when participants test game mechanics in the real world and craft their own Minecraft gear using customized paper craft, perler beads, and other supplies. Campers can use their ow Minecraft account or a temporary account from Empow Studios. All levels are welcome!
