After a performance of traditional dancing, singing, and drumming, members of the Friends of African Dance and Drum Culture ensemble (FOADDC) will describe the origin and significance of each dance. Drums and hand percussion will be played to accompany the dances, and introduced by the ensemble. The audience will be encouraged to participate in singing, dancing and drumming.
Space is limited. Free tickets available in the Cary Children’s Room beginning Monday, July 18 at 7:00 p.m. Phone reservations accepted at 7:30 p.m.
