The Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Greg Hopkins, will present a concert at LHS in the Gillespie auditorium on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:30 PM. This concert is free and open to the public.
The BCJO has been selected as a featured band at the International Jazz Education Network's annual conference this coming weekend and was looking for an opportunity to have a dry run of their performance before they get to the conference.
This band has an outstanding international reputation as being the top pre-professional college band in the world and they combine outstanding playing with outstanding student composition for a very exciting evening of jazz.
