Cary Memorial Library Presents Dr. Jonathan Gruber, author of Health Care Reform: What It Is, Why It's Necessary, How It Works.

Health care may not be a laughing matter.... but it can be a comic book!  In order to make this complex subject more understandable, Dr. Gruber uses a fun and accessible cartoon format.  It's an easy way to learn what the Affordable Care Act includes and how its provisions might affect you.

Dr. Gruber is professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Director of the Health Care Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research.  He has served as a key advisor on health care to President Obama and as the leading architect of the Massachusetts health care reform plan.
