Cary Memorial Library Presents "Historic Concord and the Lexington Fight"

Join us as author Leslie Wilson discusses her new edition of Historic Concord and the Lexington Fight . First written by Concord historian Allen French and published in 1942, Ms. Wilson has reworked Historic Concord for its most recent re-publication and added an all-new guide to the historic landmarks and monuments of Concord and Lexington.

In her talk, the author will discuss the challenges of writing history, and will explore the issues she faced in updating this classic work, and in writing its accompanying guidebook.

Leslie Wilson is Curator of the William Munroe Special Collections at the Concord Free Public Library, and a writer on local historical, literary, and related topics.
