COA-Yoga and Pain Workshop

This two part class begins with a yoga warm-up with gentle stretching, proper breathing and posture. The first class will address ways of using yoga as an awareness to prevent pain caused by interacting with one's physical environment (emptying the dishwasher or picking up a box from the floor). The second class will address ways of using yoga as an awareness to prevent pain and self-injury when trying to help another person.

Bring a mat if you already have one. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Tuesdays, January 11th and 18th from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

You have the option of signing up for one or both of these workshops. $10.00 for one, OR $15.00 for both workshops. Instructor is Susanne Sandberg, retired occupational therapist who received her yoga teacher training from Kripalu and from Inner Peace.

Please sign up and pay the receptionist at the Senior Center.
