Film: "Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North"

Due to Snow last week, we will show the film Tuesday night, Feb 8th -- an incredibly documentary about the Bristol, Rhode Island-based DeWolf Family's discovery and pursuit of its involvement in slavery. Put those shovels away and come take up a real cause...

St. Brigid's generously hosting this screening, completed w/coffee and snacks.

Then, on Wednesday, Feb 16th, please join CommUNITY at Hancock Church for our first "Community Conversation" about the film and the important issues it raises. This facilitated group will discuss the challenging issues raised in the film, "Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North" and how it pertains to the Greater Boston communities -- especially the fast-changing demographics we see right here in Lexington and the impact on civic engagement, cultural diversity, and race relations.
