Noted naturalist and Concord resident Peter Alden will lead a colorful discussion on the annual migration of the Scarlet Tanager a bird common in our summer woodlands yet a traveler to and from the Peruvian Amazon via Central America and over the high Andes. The environment, colonial archeology and 18th century communications are all themes that will be touched on in the Friends of Minute Man National Park Lecture Series this March.
These lectures, free and open to the public, will take place at the National Park Service Minute Man Visitor Center on 2A . The Lecture Series is being sponsored by a generous contribution from Cranberry Hill Associates, Inc. of Lincoln.
