Kids that have pre-registered will be treated to a market tour, and special picnic table talks with our farmers! Kids entering grades 3-6 (& their parents) are invited to GO GREEN- and get to know your farmers! Join Lori from Kids Cooking Green, and Ruth Lynn from the Cary Library at the Market Managers tent for some green fun! Did you know that farmer Rita of the HerbFarmacy has 30,000 sleeping lady bugs in her fridge at home! Or that some farmers do their greenhouse weeding with the help of a PIG! Come hear more, first hand from the farmers, then tour the market, and find yourself a healthy local snack with a complimentary $2 LFM gift coupon! This event is free, funded by the friends of Cary Library. Pre-registration is required, and begins on June 21 at 7:00 p.m. by going to www.carylibrary.org or by calling 781 862 6288 x170. Event is held under the market managers tent and is limited to 20 children, with a parent.
