Lexington 300th Anniversary Fiber Arts Committee

Sewers/stitchers -- get your needles ready to help celebrate Lexington's 300th Anniversary.  Be a part of the 300th Fiber Arts projects!  Learn more on Jan. 29 (snow date Feb. 5), 3 p.m. at the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St.  Some kits for projects will be available for you to take home or bring your ideas to share!  Everything we make will represent a page in Lexington's history and if you are handy with needles, there’s something for you.  Create garments to be worn for the 300th Fashion Show/Musical Revue.  Work on quilts that will be donated to the town.  Knit for Lexington.  Other items will be made for sale or raffle beginning at the Country Fair to help defray costs of our 300th celebration.  All levels and ages are welcome!   If you have yarn (red, white, blue) or fabric scraps (red, white, blue) to lend, please bring along.

Hosted by the 300th Anniversary Textile & Fiber Arts Steering Committee:  Martha Wood, Bebe Fallick, Jan Shaw, Kim Coburn, Tanya Morrisett, Jessie Steigerwald.
