Essential Characteristics:  Photography Guild Hangs Inaugural Show

October 2-15. 

The Lexington Arts & Crafts Society is launching a new photography guild to augment its offerings to the arts and crafts community.  The show "Essential Characteristics" features a wide variety of subjects -- flowers, insects, automobiles, birds, trees and architectural images.  Color, black and white, digital, traditional and infrared images are included.

As it grows, the guild will focus on composition, critiques, education, techniques, technology and building a community of like-minded individuals who find a creative outlet in photography.  Guild members already includes experienced pinhole photographers, macro photographers, traditional and technology-based print-makers.  If you are interested in photography, we are interested in you.

Gallery hours are:  Tuesday-Friday & Sunday: 12-4, Saturday:  10-4

The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization established in 1935 and celebrating our 75th Anniversary dedicated to preserving and educating the community in the arts and crafts.
