Lexington Community Education presents: How to Manage Your Boss with Gail Birger

Did you ever work, or do you currently work for the "worst boss on the planet"?  An aggressive micro-manager with impossible demands?  An indecisive milquetoast who's afraid of new ideas?   How did they land their positions?  And how are some of your colleagues able to work with them, and even get promoted?  Learn the secrets of "managing up" and engendering trust with your boss.  Through role play, case studies and exercises, you'll learn what to say, how to assert yourself, and how to "distance yourself" from criticism.  Your boss may never become an angel, but you'll improve your standing in his or her eyes, and feel more in control of your situation.

This is a two-session class meeting Thursdays, May 5 and May 12 from 7-9pm.  The cost of the two-session class is $55.00.

Pre-registration required by contacting Lexington Community Education at 781 862 8043 using a VISA or MasterCard.
