
Lexington Symphony, led by music director Jonathan McPhee, begins its 2010-2011 season on Saturday, September 25 at 8pm with Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony, Prokofiev's Sinfonietta and Haydn's Symphony No. 104 "London." This wonderful opportunity to hear Beethoven's great symphonic masterpiece performed live also includes Haydn's Symphony No. 104, the last symphony of his career, and the last of the twelve London symphonies, which were an immediate success for Haydn and are favorites to this day.
