Lexington Symphony: Summer's Eve

New this year, the Lexington Symphony and Music Director Jonathan McPhee present a concert of intimate works 'in the round' on June 11 at 7pm. Literally giving the audience a new perspective on the orchestra – which will placed in the middle of Cary Hall - the program includes Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp, Dvorak's Wind Serenade, Parry's English Suite for Strings, and more. The informal performance will be preceded by a question and answer session with musicians from the orchestra, and followed by a reception where musicians and patrons can meet and get to know each other. Tickets are $30, $10 and are available online at http://www.lexingtonsymphony.org/tickets.html, by calling 781-523-9009, or with your check payable to Lexington Symphony, P.O. Box 194, Lexington MA 02420. Lexington Symphony website
