The Lexington Veterans' Association presents their monthly program on Monday, January 10, 2011, at 1:15 P.M., at Cary Memorial Library (Meeting Room). The program entitled, "Afghanistan 2008-2009: A Deployment with the Currahees," will be presented by Matthew Pica, SGT, US Army SGT Pica is a graduate of Milford High School and attended Iona College from which he left in his junior year to enlist in the Army as an Infantryman. SGT Pica has served in Iraq with the 1/506th Infantry Division (Band of Brothers) and in Kapisa Province, Afghanistan near Bagram. SGT Pica has much experience in these two theaters that he will share with us.
