Lexington Symphony presents an epic performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 8 "Symphony of a Thousand" in partnership with the Nashua Symphony & Chorus, the Boston's Children's Chorus, the New World Chorale, and nine acclaimed vocal soloists. The symphony is rarely performed because it require an enormous cast of musicians, bringing together a double chorus, a children's chorus, a full orchestra, and eight soloists in a celebration of the eternal power of love. This once-in-a-lifetime event is sponsored by the Lexington Symphony Concert Fund Partners.
