Maximize Your Workouts: Warm-Up & Cool Down

Stretching and cooling down are integral parts of every workout. These often overlooked and misunderstood principles provide numerous benefits when done correctly. This class will provide an overview of various stretching techniques and their benefits. You will be guided through a short, but thorough series of exercises to use as you warm up and cool down before and after workouts. All of the stretches and techniques covered can be tailored to your specific health and functional needs. If you have one, please bring a yoga mat and stretching aid (stretch band or towel) to class.  Mike Gloor, LATC is a certified athletic trainer of the Lexington Public Schools.
