Pops! Art of the States

Once a year, the Master Singers of Lexington departs from its classical repertoire to present a popular program. On Saturday the chorus will feature songs of these United States from stage and screen, including a luscious arrangement of “Georgia On My Mind”, Randy Newman’s “Louisiana 1927”, “Oklahoma”, and many others by Bernstein, Stephen Foster, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Kurt Weill. Music Director Adam Grossmann has also uncovered little-known “gems” which are added to the program, and members of the chorus will shine in solos and small groups. Join the chorus for an evening of pure fun followed by refreshments.

First Parish UU Church is fully accessible and there is free parking behind the church.
