Post-Secondary Transition Planning: What You Need to Know

Meeting of the Lexington Special Education Parent Advisory Council:

Realizing successful post-secondary outcomes is a goal for all
students. Depending on the individual student and the nature of the
disability, successful transition from high school to adult life may
require planning as early as elementary or middle school.

This presentation will be of interest to parents with children in 4th
grade & up. It will include tips for teens, parents, and staff.

Our presenters are Barbara Ostrom, Special Education Transition
Program Counselor at Lexington High School and Sandy Storer, LICSW,
social worker and private transition specialist at NESCA in Newton,
MA.
Business meeting 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
