Using the Career Transition Database for Job Search Success

Are you or someone you know looking for a new job?  Cary Memorial Library has a new service that can help! 

On Thursday evening, January 6, at 7:00 p.m.  Cary Library will present "Using the Career Transitions Database for Job Search Success."   Career Transitions is a guided, self-paced, online resource that walks you through the entire job search process--from assessing strengths and interests to preparing a resume to applying online.  Find out how this new learning tool can help you:

  • Discover Occupational Interests
  • Explore Career Paths
  • Prepare Resumes
  • Identify Educational Opportunities (to enhance job skills)
  • Find Job Opportunities that Match Your Criteria

Chris Herpers, representative from the company that created Career Transitions, will demonstrate how to use this valuable library resource.   For more information about this program, please call Cary Library at 781-862-6288 ext 250.

***Access to the Career Transitions database is provided free to all users in the Library. Home use is available only to Lexington residents and those who work in Lexington.
