The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra presents a community symphony concert featuring the music of Mendelssohn, Schumann, Mozart, and others.

Felix Mendelssohn -- The Hebrides (Fingal’s Cave) Overture
Hilary Tann -- High Rock Spring
Young Artist’s Competition prizewinner Amy Oraftik, soprano, performing arias by Mozart and Rossini
Robert Schumann -- Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 97, “Rhenish”

The Philharmonic Society of Arlington is a distinctive community organization providing an Orchestra, Chorale, and Chamber Chorus to Arlington and its surrounding towns. Membership in both the Orchestra and Chorale is open to all players and singers without an audition. Chorale rehearsals are held Monday evenings at 7:45 pm at Park Avenue Congregational Church, 50 Paul Revere Road, corner of Park Avenue, Arlington. Orchestra rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm at the First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church, 630 Massachusetts Ave, in Arlington Center. Come sing and play with us!
