Family Fun Time During February School Vacation Week at Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Faneuil Hall Hosts a Series of Free Special Events and Promotions for Kids and Families All Week Long

Faneuil Hall Marketplace announced today it will be hosting a fun-filled week of free activities for kids and families during School Vacation Week. From February 16 to February 20 the Marketplace will present eight activities full of fun and entertainment, perfect for any age. Faneuil Hall Marketplace will also be running its Half Off at the Hallpromotion during the month of February and March, so make sure to stop by the Food Colonnade located at Quincy Market and participating restaurants after the shows for great prices on your favorite treats!
“Parents are always looking for fun ways to engage their kids during the winter school break,” said Carol Troxell, President of the Faneuil Hall Merchants Association. “Faneuil Hall Marketplace is excited to offer these great family events that are educational, fun and FREE! Each day, a different event will be hosted at Quincy Market including Yo-Yo Painting, interactive storytelling and so much more. ”
Additionally, visit any participating waterfront location, color in a Bustah Crab coloring sheet, and enter for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship brought to you by the Waterfront Boston and sponsored by The Langham, Boston.

Monday, February 16- Kids Music by Marcie
10am-12pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Marcie has made a name for herself in the dance music scene with top 10 releases worldwide. Marcie’s songs and interactive activities stimulate children’s creativity and support self-expression through music, art, and play. Kids laugh, dance, jump, and learn alongside colorful props, puppets, and stories.

Monday, February 16 - Wacky Chad Stunt Comedian
12pm-2pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Laugh until it hurts as stunt comedian Wacky Chad rides another person on his tiny bicycle and handstands on a skateboard. Wacky Chad will reach neck-straining heights on his tall unicycle and defy gravity on an air powered pogo stick. Prepare to be amazed, and if you don’t like laughing, go somewhere else. #wackychad

Malik Haddadi is an award winning, full-time entertainer with over 20 years or experience performing comedy magic for children and families.
Tuesday, February 17 and Thursday, February 19- Juggling Lessons with Paris the Hip-Hop Juggler
12pm-2pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Paris, given the nickname “The Hip-Hop Juggler” by Al Roker himself, has been dazzling audiences with his brand of juggling for over a decade. He has appeared at the Big Apple Circus, The Today Show, Sesame Street, and the White House to name a few. Paris has gained critical acclaim for his juggling instruction, teaching hundreds at conventions, universities, and corporations. He has just completed his 6th year of teaching juggling with the Big Apple Circus and has taught over 1,000 people how to juggle. We bet he can teach you too! Paris will teach kids in groups of five how to juggle.
Wednesday, February 18- Painting with Pawblo Picasso®
10am-12pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Pawblo Picasso ® is a local artist with a specialization in painting animals. While she focuses primarily on pet portraiture, she enjoys painting and illustrating all types of creatures. Performance is a huge part of her art, and she can be found “plein-air” painting animals all over the country. While her art has a broad appeal, she finds that children are particularly drawn to her work.
Wednesday, February 18- Magic Juggling & Fun with Robert Clarke
12pm-2pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Superb, sophisticated and stylish! Boston magician and jugglerRobert Clarke will entertain, mystify and keep you wanting more. Providing a total variety show that includes awesome magic, cool juggling skills, hilarious comedy routines and tons of audience interaction. Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20– Paint a Yoyo with John Higby the Yoyo Guy
10am-12pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Faneuil Hall will feature Yo-Yo-Painting and tricks by John Higby. Watch the World Yo-Yo Champion perform his unique blend of comedy, painting and old school yo-yo tricks. He has been featured on David Letterman, the Discovery Channel’s Time Warp, Comedy Central, the Guinness World Record Show, Fetch with Ruff Ruffman on PBS, and even has his own Topps trading card!
Friday, February 20- Magic Tricks with Ryan Lally
12pm-2pm at Upper Rotunda of Quincy Market
Ryan Lally is Boston’s PREMIUM young magician, specializing in quality family entertainment! Ryan is a 17 year old magician, based in Watertown, MA. He has been learning and performing magic since 2009, and is a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Vice President of the Boston chapter of the Society of Young Magicians, two nationally recognized and respected clubs.
