First Baptist Church Celebrates 15th Annual Teddy Bear Sunday

The First Baptist Church of Lexington will be celebrating the 15th Annual ”Teddy Bear Sunday” on February 14, 2016 at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Over 2100 teddy bears and other furry friends have been collected over these years and presented to Middlesex Human Services Agency who in turn, give to needy families in the area. The tradition also includes reading the children’s book “In the Company of Bears” to the congregation by Mr. Richard Rogers of Middlesex Human Services. The church choir also sings the “Teddy Bear Picnic” song to all. Please come and enjoy this special event and see the sanctuary filled with many bears and friends.
